Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Wait a minute here... I knew you could be both a PS and an RS member at the same time. Can you also be an HS and an RS member at the same time? That feels a little...piggy to me. But on the other hand that's an impressive dedication to the Bruery.

In other news, I'm excited to find out about our first allocation of the year (and my first as an RS member)!

 

Your buddy being both HS&RS should know about the pickup delays and should've informed you since he knew everything that you had planned.

Even if he had permission in the past, he can get both his memberships terminated for doing that.

Sorry if I did talk out of my ass a bit, but I'm used to the complainers being entitled whiners that want to take advantage of everything they can. Looks like it was just bad timing bro, you have until March to go grab your stuff, or you could put one of your friends down as a trustee and they could grab it for you when they happen to go to The Bruery.

 

Question for other out-of-staters who use trustees. Who do you ship your beers through? I know one guy who uses UPS. Does anybody use FedEx? I may be able to benefit from my company's corporate discount if I use the latter, but I vaguesly recall hearing they are more difficult to deal with on out-of-state shipments.

 

everyone I trustee for chooses fedex. I generally don't like shipping ups, but I always leave it up to whoever owns the beer

 

I think I ran into them yesterday at the Society fulfillment center during the event. I offered to trustee for them and send them the beers at a later time, they declined. I give credit to the employee though, he did them a solid and gave them the 10 beers they wanted to pick up as well. That was pretty nice of them.

I used FedEx for my first few shipments, but after delays and extra fees being added to my shipments I use UPS now (with a discount from my company as well) and have never had one issue.

 

What time do our allocations normally appear? My understanding is it's the first Monday of the month, right? So far my allocations tab is blank.

 

id say usually around 10 or 11 the email goes out with what the allocations are

 

Allocations are up now. SHIT, les ronces, batch 1731, chronology 6, and mocha.

Only a week on SHIT though

 

This is the most frightening email I've ever received... financially.

 

Wait til the later months, October - December is going to make your wallet weep.

 

Can anyone confirm if 2015 members are going to get a shot at SHIT? I didn't renew my membership for 2016, but was under the impression SHIT was one of the beers we'd still be able to purchase since it slipped. I'm not seeing it when I log in to the site.

Subscribed, great allocations this month

 

Saw Frucht as an upcoming beer in the email -- anyone know anymore about it, beyond being a fruited Berliner Weisse? Google didn't yield anything.

 

I see nothing in the email indicating that bottles of SHIT wont be guaranteed to society members after the public release kicks off. It only says:

The following beers are available to order any time between now and Friday, January 22.

I don't plan on buying my allocation til after my Jan 15th paycheck so I hope I am correct here....

 

Excited to see Blue BBLs coming back and whatever White Mocha is going to be. Nice allocations this month; seems like a great way to kick off the year.

 

It seems like for the 2016 members its from 4(today)-11.

I'm going to assume that means that the 2015 members will get a shot at it as well starting next week.

 

My wife is going to kill me when she sees how much I just spent.
