stopped in to the tasting room yesterday. They had Fruet on which was tasting absolutely amazing. Also enjoyed the wakefield collab and 2017 white chocolate

Fruet is my favorite Bruery beer, hands down.

Terreux sale beers are starting to appear on the public beer page... several look like they've been discounted... don't think I've ever seen that (maybe it's leftovers from the Crowther sale?)

I done effed up and did not max out on RdF as I had never had it. Once I tried it, totally regretted not maxing out.

Hoping that one comes back to the allotments...

Also, Pommeruex is up right now (for me), but not sure if you've already maxed out.

Saw someone who tried the Wakfield version (Taking my Talents to Miami), said it was fantastic.

    Can't wait to try it.

I never thought about it until now, but are all the anniversary beers the same beer? Reading more about the solera method of blending finally tipped me off. I know there have been different barrel treatments over the years, but for simplification, let's assume Bourbon Barrel Aged since it's the most common.

I finally opened my first Anniversary beer, a Bois Bourbon, a couple of weeks ago. Got it along with a Rye and American Oak as part of the archive sale of 2015. I also have bottles of Poterie Bourbon and Scotch, and a bottle of Saule. Can I expect that all the Bourbons are going to taste pretty much the same, except with age? For some reason, I had it in my mind that they were different beers every year.

I have found all the bourbon barreled anniversary ales to be quite different through out the years.

The style, and I assume recipe, are the same each year. The solera method plus barrel effects I think add some variability. That said, amongst the standard bourbon releases, I'm pretty sure if you like one you'll like them all - same sentiment I think people have about different years of Black Tuesday, Chocolate Rain, etc.

I live in Texas but will be at the anniversary party in May. Unfortunately, I won't be able to bring back all the bottles I have on hold at the pick up center. Does anyone know if I'll be able to grab the ones I want to bring back and leave the rest for my trustee to send later or do they require me to pick up everything they are holding for me when I show up.

I appreciate any info y'all have!

You can specify specific orders but in my experience this isn't 100% foolproof in making sure the society desk doesn't box up *everything*. You can't pick a specific bottle out of an order and leave the rest behind.

You can pick up specific order numbers but I dubt they will split orders

IMO, plan to meetup with your trustee. Grab all your orders and take the bottles you want back home and leave the rest with your trustee....after buying that individual a beer or two for the trouble. =P
