The great thing about being a Hoarder, now you don't have the extra feeling that you need to max out every time to try and make HS. (not that there is any evidence maxing out gets you to be HS).

No, At least to me. This Month blows away any month from last year. Bruery bringing the Fire right away.

Just curious, where do you see that? For HS, there is no mention of that beer on the horizon? They've also never done a delayed release like that before and considering the new system which automatically opens up unsold bottles to lower tiers, it doesn't make sense to do it that way either. I'd put money on it that HS gets it, if its all bought up, no RS additional bottles. If they don't, you'll see it in 2 Mondays from now.

Am I the only one that was expecting MW? Wallet is happy but nothing else is. Hopefully later in the year.

There is a section at the bottom of the RS email that says "On the horizon" (one to three months) and it lists Rue D'Floyd (2017) | Mélange #3 (2017) | Mocha Wednesday (2017) | White Chocolate (2017)

    MW isn't always in January.

I think MW is usually a Feb release.

RS will see Rue D'Floyd starting with the second wave of allocations on Tuesday, January 17. It'll be first-come, first-served.

What's everyone's opinion of Befuddlement? Is it similar to tart of darkness? I'm still trying to expand my experience with sours as I tend to lean toward sweet beers. I maxed out anyway, but I'm trying to get a feel for what to expect.

Also expect to be in the LA area in a couple of weeks. Any chance RDF and Befuddlement will be on tap that long?

Awesome. I can use the "Hey Girl, it's my birthday week, I'm maxing out on these RDF allocations," excuse with the wife.

Just curious, when this happens, can HS still buy more bottles since its first come, first served?

New year, new rules, new questions. From the allocation email...

Although there's no official Society Member Monday today / this month at our Bruery Terreux Tasting Room (due to the holiday), you will find all of these beers on tap when we open today at 4:00 p.m. at our Bruery Terreux Tasting Room.

So does that mean they are only available today, and will not be available tomorrow? I was hoping to stop by tomorrow since I can't get there today, but the primary purpose for going is to sample the available allocations. Any advice?

I'd anticipate most to still be pouring. Check the tasting room lists for any changes - real-time - though.

While we are at it, how does the "Request up to X more" work? Where do you put in that request?

Go to the site and look at the beers. Its one of the drop downs you have there. Basically, if you request more you are buying the max available, plus whatever the request is for. User beware though, you are automatically charged for it if it is available so you are committing to it.

It's under the quantity when you place your order. As an RS I can select 1 of 2, 2 of 2, request 3, request 4. I assume that request 3 or 4 means I purchase 2 now and will be extended the requests when/if available.

exactly. I did this with the growler and after the sale ended, they charged my card and added a second growler to my account. Just FYI, no additional email was received. I only knew about it from seeing the charge in my bank account.

Argh, my bad. I read that as White Mocha. Trying to read too fast while at work. Thanks.

Out of curiosity, did the HS email specify that M5 is HS only? Hoping it trickles to RS...
