That is mostly because those breweries are losing money on the glassware as part of their marketing budget.

Got a growler fill of Vindictive yesterday, and WOW. I am loving the use of Syrah and Grenache grapes with the Black Tuesday backbone. Hope Bruery continues to make out of the box choices like this merging Wine and Beer. I'm a fan of these hybrids.

Did people really like Gypsy Tart enough to make another batch? That's a bit surprising to me.

Also, I dig the new mischief label.

I didn't love Gypsy Tart (not tart enough) or Beret, but yeah, seeing them go all-in on both. It's always sitting on shelves too.

I love Beret. I've even got a couple bottles of batch 1 laying around. That beer ages amazingly well. A year in bottles and it blew my mind.

I liked Beret for the price point

I like it for its availability. I've seen it on tap at least a few places in Houston. Hard to pass it up whenever I see it on.

I still hope they do an Irish Cream variant of Black Tuesday (Perhaps Grey Monday + Mocha Wednesday with caramel and extra chocolate and hazelnuts). Call it Irish it was Friday (The idea is mine, the name is Ryan Dick's idea... BTW, that guy is awesome at the TR!)

I enjoyed it a lot and still have several.

I agree wholeheartedly with the last paragraph on this... I went on Saturday, and it was just me and Emily (behind the bar). I think moving Society Member Monday over there is an excellent idea.

So you have 94% of all of it that was made

I'd put it square up against a Goudenband any day of the week. It's much more a traditional Oud Bruin than say a La Folie. I heard plenty of people trash it for not being over the top sour, but it wasn't supposed to be IMO. But, you can't please everyone.

Maybe not pertinent now that the glasses are sold out but the glasses are not the same. Similar, but one tapers more than the other giving it a smaller diameter at its rim. I'm not home now but can post pics later.

Just make sure you don't go there during a busy time... Parking is a joke.

I haven't picked up my stuff yet, but it's kind of a bummer to hear that both pieces of "high quality" hoarders merch are breaking. Any RS members having the same issues with the smaller glass and oak bottle opener?

I've shipped a few of the RS glasses in 12 box shippers, and they all received it safely.

Normally we can manage to find parking somewhere, and if you don't want to hassle there's valet for a few bucks.

No, but I really have not put them through a test either.

The oak bottle opener...I'm torn on this. I've been lucky and mine hasn't cracked and I've used it to open every beer I've drank in the last 2 weeks. That being said, it's not a very good opener. It usually takes 2-5 tries to get it to open....and forget it if there is wax on the bottle. I really love the way it looks, I just wish it worked better.

Is anyone else having trouble opening beers easily with it?
