Not a joke.. I spared you all the bloody detail of how my finger was sliced open as a result.. Obviously it could be a combination of things at fault, but most notable is how the round opening of the wooden opener is so precisely round it encapsulates the bottle cap so tight..

 

mine actually doesnt fit bruery caps... works fine on the standard sized caps though

Mash and French toast is so good!

As a self described lover of English BW and mash included. This is great, nose is suspect of flavors but it hits it all. Description hits all notes.

 

So, in a Facebook group I'm in, someone said they had an infected 2016 MW. I don't want to start some huge discussion, just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this since I've never heard of a weekday beer infection.

 

Probably referring to the old coffee bitter notes.

 

That's what I was thinking. Also, BT does have a bit of a tartness in the first place. But you know how it gets when someone puts "bruery" and "infection" together, regardless of the beer or the evidence, it's automatically true.

 

It's funny. This week someone I had sent a Black Tuesday to said "In a Facebook group someone said they had an infected BT."
I haven't had a bad MW or BT from 2016.

 

I think people maybe pick up some of the tartness their yeast tends to throw sometimes.

 

I don't know about anyone else, but this comment just won 2017 for me!

 

I agree with you 100%... My hope is that when they do this year's version that the up the peanut flower... Or even add some fruit. That PBJ may be the best Bruery beer I've ever had. And that's saying something!

 

Give it a year... Pretty much everything that starts off as Hoarders only makes its way to Reserve. Until then, hit me up next time you're in the TR and I'll buy you a glass.

 

Opened an M15 last night, no issues.. hope they recreate this blend
