These don't work well with beer because carbonation best to use a basic wine stop or like the champagne stoppers they sell from the Bruery.

My favorate method is using new caps. I have had great success over a week and opening and capping a few times. Almost all places will sell the capper but make sure you get the 29mm caps.

So they aren't fulfilling M15 anymore... Bummer, but from what I'm hearing there have been some big issues with it.

Instead of refunding, they offered to exchange them for Black Tuesday. A solid $4$ swap... Though I wonder if I could have asked for White Chocolate (2017... The best version yet!)

Can't complain about BT though... Bummer that M15 didn't work out too well... It was insanely good!

Speaking of 2017 White Chocolate, I opened my first bottle tonight and I'm not sure how I feel... I loved it the last two years, and as advertised this year's is more mellow, but I think I liked the past more. Even though past versions were more harsh, I think I liked the base beer flavor more than I liked the chocolate element. It's still very tasty, but I'm questioning whether I want to buy any more or get extra Melange 3, which I thought was right in line with other vintages and really fantastic (Going into this year M3 and WC were arguably my favorite two Bruery offerings).

Thanks for all the advice on the wine stoppers team. I learn something new all the time around here. You guys are the best!

No problem, any time I can use my college education in relation to beer, I'm on board.

That's fine with me, I'm glad that their production has increased to the point that they can release it to the public. I actually didn't buy any MW so I can get a few extra bottles of Chocolate Rain, looks like there won't be a shortage this year.

Has CR always been $39.99 retail?

Still would rather have GM over CR/MW..

I limited my Mocha Wednesday purchases this year so I could get more Chocolate Rain. After having a few older vintages I can't wait to see what age does to my bottles.

I just wish they weren't releasing it back to back with MW... I don't start my new job until April and so my allocation budget is low.

I haven't tried CR yet but am looking forward to it. Is it basically fairly similar to MW just without the coffee? Or Hoarder's Cuvee without the raspberry? Or is the difference more pronounced?

Public access is fine by me, but if they made THAT much of it, we should be offered society fills.

seeing as they haven't done fills of Black Tuesday I wouldn't expect it.

With CR seeing public release should we expect higher allocations than in the past?

Wow maybe because a lot of west coast haven't gotten on yet, we don't have any outrage yet?. Not one complaint about a BT variant going public by 630 EST? So unlike this board. Step up your game.

Funny, the Full Pint podcast made a prediction for 2017 that Black Tuesday would see public distribution this year. Well this isn't that, but it's generally in that vein.

Interesting to see them push those core BT, CR, GM, and MW out more (based on MW sale limits this month, I wouldn't be surprised to see a tasting room only push during the anniversary sales or something) and go more exclusive on PB&T, this year's day of the week and the Cuvees.

A public sale is different from distribution though. They did public sales of BT last year. I bet this is more of a marketing effort to bring fresh blood to The Bruery and entice people to join a Society.
