The add a friend(s) benefit only applies to receiving your Society access and discount in our Tasting Rooms and DC stores. At events, the member must be present. You're free to bring these friends as your guests though!

Two growler related questions: first of all, will growlers purchased today be eligible for pickup during the "initial packages only" pickup window? And secondly, and perhaps more importantly, will the names we gave for tasting room benefits be able to fill 32 oz growlers if they have one?

@BruerJoel, I'm looking for some clarification concerning 2017 purchases. I know it was briefly touched on in the 2017 thread, with Black Tuesday being available for pickup in DC. Are other beers purchased under the DC pickup option available this coming month, or is there some sort of snag (can't do it)? I know the option became available sometime around September.

    Thanks

Dec. 13th email. In the middle of the 12 days sale, so it can see how it would be easy to miss

This was one of my only complaints listed in the end of year survey. Always seems to take about 2 weeks or more for my orders to ship.

Although, I do remember someone mid 2017 saying they got to taste their allocations and reorder before the allocation period was up.

Hey @BruerJoel is it possible to resend the email so we can add a friend or has that shipped sailed?

You should be able to go into the current orders page on your bruerystore account and find two $0 orders: the first will be the beer pickup, the second will be the merch pickup. I know for Hoarders its 2 of Black and Blue BBLs, 2 PB&J Thursday, 1 of Sour in the Rye with Peaches, and 2 of the vintage bottles.

Any of the new beers on tap today? Or not until the event?

I was assuming maybe next Monday when new allocations go live? Or perhaps the event, not sure. If I remember correctly, Rue d Floyd was not on tap until after the kickoff party in 2017

That was me. Last couple months window has been about three weeks instead of one, AND you can request shipment right away rather than waiting for window to close.

Other than that, I think there are just times when they are more slammed than others, like during big sales. I assume it's first in first out, so you placed a new allocation order right at 10am and shipped you'd be in front of all the people who are waiting to try the beer first.

I predict Chocolate Thunder will be SHIT with CR treatment.

God I would love that. I was very happy when they did SHIT coffee. They need more $20-$25 dollar, ~12-14% BBA stouts for us to buy, that is my biggest gripe. Other than SHIT, or maybe the 6-12 month chronology (no stout yet), there is no steady stream of $22/14% stouts to buy. ABV more imprtant than price point. Im hoping the new "you asked for it" (vanilla BBA stout) and the "mounds of coconut" (coconut BBA stout) are in that 14% range.

I assume You Asked For It was going to be Vanilla BT.

I bet the problem with BBA stouts is that everyone and their mother makes one, so it's harder to be edgy.

Speaking of Chronology, have they mentioned starting a new series, or are they giving it a rest? A barleywine... er... imperial brown... would be cool for that series. Or even doing it with White Oak Sap.
