Not sure why you'd get a discount on two crowlers. You don't get a discount on multiple pours or flights (e.g. up to the equivalent of 64oz).

Pay for a growler (64 oz) which would've been discounted but have them put into crowlers than wasting a whole growler of something I may not even finish. It was trying to make my drinking experiences easier.

I think its 50% off one fill. So you can fill up 1 howler and get 50% off. The coupon never specified crowlers, it only covers howlers, growlers, full pour or flight. And then you can only use it on the same beers they allow growler fills of off the tasting room menu. Brusicle they only do crowlers of. I dont think they even do howlers or growlers of Bruesicles.

They told me the discount was only on 64oz growlers, no 32oz. Was very disappointing as I don't get 64oz of anything anymore.

Not sure why, maybe becuase it is still a new process, but I used two different 50% off coupons to fill my society branded 32 oz howler. Maybe it is allowed for society branded howlers, not sure, but I definitely got 2 fills with half off.

Guess I got lucky:sunglasses:. @BruerJoel can you confirm if we are able to fill 32oz howlers and use the 50% off coupon from the app?

NOW ON TAP Cumulus Lager. A cloudy, hazy, juicy version of Humulus Lager. OG tasting room.

I have a Wine Check that I got from amazon. It fits a standard 12-bottle shipper box in it and has wheels and a rudimentary handle. A friend has one too and sometimes I will bring both. Gets a little hairy trying to pull the two Wine Checks plus a carry on, but I make it work and would highly recommend getting one. I almost never fly without it. You never know what interesting beers might be available when you're on a trip somewhere...

Appreciate all the advice! I was able to get a collapsible luggage cart today that I tested with 2 12 bottle shipper boxes. I think it’ll work well for me, and it fits in my backpack! Also, idk how feasible it’ll be but I’m gonna try to hit up OG, Terreux, BL, and monkish in 2.5 hours. It’s times like these where I wish at least one of them opened before noon

The wine check or similar luggage bags that turn a 12 bottle shipper into a wheeled piece of luggage are key. I have one and love. Pricey at first, but if you travel enough totally worth it.

There's no way you will make all four of those in two and a half hours. Even if you order a beer and pound it at the bar, run out the door and rush to the next place, you wouldn't be able to make it work. Drive time alone will make it darn near impossible - let alone you won't even be able to enjoy the beer that you order. Having made that same route several times in my visits to LA, your best bet is to cut two of those breweries out. IMO, Bottle Logic doesn't have anything too terribly remarkable on draft unless it is close to a release and you can probably cut out one of the Bruery locations and still be fine.

Are you just doing pick up? If so, you have a shot. I’d skip one of The Bruery locations and then you might be able to do 3 locations in 2.5 hours. The drive from monkish will probably kill 45 mins, if there is little traffic.
At monkish, I’d just grab growlers and then have a pour while waiting for growlers to be filled. And then pray it isn’t a release day, because then that just killed your 2.5 hours

The plan is land, grab food, be at Terreux right when they open, get half off a flight, head to The Bruery for pick up, head to monkish for some fills and a pour, then fly out. Bottle logic depends on me getting tickets for robots in disguise, in which case I’d be there right at noon for pick up, then head straight to Terreux. If OG had a better RS list, I’d skip Terreux, but unfortunately they don’t have much on. Plus, y’all have been making me wanna try some bruesicles!

That is doable in 2.5 hours, you can bring in food to any of those breweries if you want to eat lunch at Terreux while you drink, depending on your timing. Even just a pick up at bottle logic would only add a couple minutes. On a Friday for an IPA release the line shouldn't be more than a couple people deep.

On a Friday, doubt it. Sitting in the car going from start to finish might take 2.5 hours, likely more.

Take care of your pickups first, if you have time to go to Monkish - do it. You will not be disappointed. Just be mindful that on a Friday afternoon, the 405 is a nightmare.

Never hurts to try and setup in person trades, I'm sure you have items from Texas that people will trade, especially if you just go $4$ for Monkish growlers.
