I wonder how involved the wineries are on beers like Vindictive, Yount, etc?

I'd be interested to see a barrel/blending colab with Firestone. Or take a note from Sierra Oktoberfest and partner with an old school Belgian brewery on some kind classic Belgian style.

Most well known craft brewers have some kind of sour program, so I'm not surprised they've done so many sour collabs. Side Project also has beers like Anabasis and Derivation which are highly sought after beers, which I think would be more interesting than another sour collab.

However, that's just my opinion, and they can obviously do whatever they want.

Based on the Side Project Instagram post it looks like it was brewed at the OG brewery so hopefully it’ll be a stout. Unless all wort is brewed there and then transported to Terreux to ferment.

I get it, but when I think side project I think sour, but when I think Wakefield I think stout. So I would have rather seen a Wakefield stout collab. But like you said, they can do whatever they want though.

The wort is brewed at OG, so I'm figuring since the main Terruex guy was photo'd with them it's going to be a sour.

Anyone have insight into the extension of the Memorial Day sale? It was posted on social media yesterday that the weekend sale has been extended, but I can't make it down til Sunday. Probably WAY late at that point, but I would love to get the 15% case discount Sunday if it's still going.

They brew everything at the main facility and ferment at terruex from what I remember from the terruex tour.

Their IG post today said today was the final day for those sales.

Just as tired as I am that Offshoot almost exclusively brews Hazy IPAs, LOL. West Coast is the Best Coast.

Opened a bottle of Coffee is Life tonight. At first I was disappointed because it didn’t have the typical knock your socks off coffee aroma that I would expect from a beer with this name. Then I tasted it...WOW!!! For me this is just about the perfect balance of caramel, chocolate, and bourbon. Like liquid dessert. I bet this would go great with a nice steak. And at 13% it’s right in that sweet spot. Cheers!

No, I’m with you. That 3 Floyd’s porter collab has been the best dark beer Bruery has made in years. I wish they would give up the 20% abv Black Tuesday crap and make some better stouts similar to bottle logic or fremonts barrel programs.

Or play around with the current Chronology Series Porter. That base beer is amazing.

Speaking of chronology porter. Where is chronology 24? I feel I've had the first 3 bottles forever.

I want to say I saw it on the "up next" section of an email. That'll be an easy max for me.

Edit: They said it was coming up in an early May email.

BT has its place, but it doesn't really hit the sweet (heh) spot for a good 2 years after bottling. It's a perfect sipper in my opinion. However, it's not brewed to be a chewy, thick stout, but I'd definitely go for something like that.

Long past the conversation, but I had my first bottle of Mounds of Coconuts a few nights ago and was actually shocked at how much coconut I could taste. Based off so many posts here, I was expecting it to be somewhat hidden, but the coconut was pretty obvious to me. I really dug it.

My guess would be in the next batch of offerings as the 18 was available in early December based on my past orders.

I agree. My bottle was great. I only bought 2 bottles. I’d have bought more had it not been for some of the posts here.

Agree completely - I opened a 2013 BT recently and it was sublime.
