I would not. Over time it will probably just lose some of the cherry smell and taste it has, and gain more vinegar.

I'll definitely be maxing allocations on Cherry Oude Tart, Melange #1, and Grey Monday. I won't feel too guilty passing on the beers that are clogging my cellar from last year (Melange #3, Rueuze, Oude Tart).

no specific mention of bottle releases, but during spiced beer month they're releasing autumn maple, batch 1000, bourbon smoking wood, windowsill (the pie beer), and white chocolate on draft.

Yup, it's going to be Black Tuesday and Syrah grapes.

Late harvest syrah, which has tons of residual sugar and is usually used to make dessert wine.

Have not seen a formal email yet, but noticed three new beers on the website as "Current Allocations" this morning. Here are the details:

    Oude Tart with Cherries $19.99
Oude Tart is our Flemish-style sour red ale that has won back to back World Beer Cup Gold medals in that category as well as a Great American Beer Festival gold medal for the same. This is that same beer, but now with cherries to compliment the flavors of dark fruit, leather and toasty oak that the original is so well known for. While this beer will certainly age fine, we think that fruited beers are best fresh as the character can dissipate with time.

    5/10 bottle limit.
    Society Exclusive.
This beer is scheduled to be released for pickups & shipments beginning August 9th.

    Batch #1000: Bryeian $9.99
Bryeian is the winner of our Batch #1000 homebrew contest! Hard to believe that we've brewed 1,000+ batches of beer and for those who have been with us throughout the years, probably surprising to see that the winner is a hoppy ale! A cascadian, dark rye ale to be exact.

Brian Pramov and Bryan Keas, a pair of homebrewers from Denver put together this winning recipe for us and it shined brightly in our competition. The roast of the dark malts, the spice of the rye and the intense hop character combine for a fantastic experience.

    CA and CO distribution only.
    Best Enjoyed Fresh.
    4/8 bottle limit.

In order to allow this beer to be consumed as freshly as possible, the Society-only window for this item lasts until August 8th at 5pm. This beer is scheduled to be released for pickups & shipments beginning August 9th. There will be a limited quantity available for anyone to purchase in the Tasting Room and Online beginning August 9th while supplies last.

    White Chocolate $29.99
Essentially a summer barley-wine style ale, but made with a wheat heavy grain base, the primary component of White Chocolate is a beer that we affectionately refer to as "White Oak Sap" as it is 100% bourbon barrel aged and is the wheat wine component of our White Oak ale. After nearly a year in used bourbon barrels, the beer comes out rich in coconut, honey, caramel and vanilla. To compliment the already rich flavors of this beer, we've added cacao nibs and fresh vanilla beans to give this beer the delicate flavor of white chocolate...hence the name.

    5/10 bottle limit
Will be available for retail purchase through The Tasting Room
    No Distribution

This beer is scheduled to be released for pickups & shipments beginning August 9th

good lineup, i'm glad there wasn't too much added at one time... i'll be breaking the bank on OTC and WC for sure.. plus i keep adding random bottles of Rye Bois and SitRK when i can't help just looking at them

anybody that's had the Oude Tart Cherry, is it better/asgoodas the SitR fruit beers? which would you spend your cash on?

    Thanks, cheers!

The production may even be down from last year. RS could by 6 last year and then they opened it up for people to buy even more. This year it is down to 5, but there are also more members so technically production may be identical.

I thought the same thing... but then again, they haven't sent out their official email yet so more could be added. Plus "Bryeian" looks like it will be a brief run with allocations ending August 8.

It doesn't say allocations end August 8th, it just says pickup will be available beginning August 9th. The most recent set of allocations were also available to pickup before the sale had ended.

Glad they're releasing more White Chocolate. I was just thinking that I need to gain 10 pounds and was wondering how I'd do it.

Yeah, but Hoarders can get 10 now too so that probably makes up the gap and then some. I'm guessing production was at least the same.

Notice it also says that it will be for sale in the tasting room. I assume this means to the general public. The numbers are probably up.
