Thanks very much for this. Others' opinions would be more than welcome, although I'm sure plenty of this will hit the webshop for additional purchases.

So did The Wanderer go on sale already?
Or are they waiting til Grey Monday and Rueze and Melange 3 are done?

Yeah, chances are we'll see The Wanderer a week or so after this allocation period ends (and it ends today).

Who thinks Grey Monday or Melange 3 would be on the site to buy tomorrow since the allocation period ends today??

Are you RS/HS? Usually the remaining beers go up pretty soon after the allocation period ends, but GM will only be available to RS/HS. I think M#3 will be open to everyone.

GM is Society Exclusive, but I would think M3 goes on Monday.

What a day at the tasting room. PiaPT (brought in some canned donations), GM, Sour Grapes flight (Pinolambicus, Oui Oui, Confession & TPF), Melange 8, growler of Oude Tart and more. To top it off I stopped into Mr. K's and chatted for a minute or two while browsing and he found me a bottle of Le Terroir that a regular never picked up. I have been there 3-4 times now and it is always a good stop and that shop continues to make me a fan.

Can't wait for my Wanderer pickup.

Melange 1 is the least talked about awesome beer that the brewery puts out which I just don't get. Loved the last blend put out a couple years ago and loving the new blend.

That's the first time I've heard of them doing a growler fill that's worth getting!

At $30 a fill it is on the steep side but if you math it out, a bottle is 750mL and $20, so 2000mL at $30 on a growler is well worth it so long as you are ready to drink two and two thirds bottles worth within a day or two. RS/HS discount also takes that price down a little but the bottle:growler price ratios remain the same.

    10/10 will fill again.

In 2012, they were far worse. The Bruery actually tried to make the growler selection better this year.

But you're right, they still don't seem to like making the good stuff available - even for RS/Hoarder members. You'd think that would be any easy and worthwhile perk to provide.

It's getting better, but they still need to improve it even further for RS/HS. It was awful prior to 2012 though - never anything decent on.

Cooking up a trio of carbonnade a la flamandes with oude tart, with cherries, and melange #1 respectively, and as good as they all are m#1 is by far the tastiest to my palate.

Grey Monday was delivered today; huzzah! (And with nice smelling scented wax to boot.)
