Given today's email re Wanderer (mystery #2), BBA5GRings, and Shegoat (weizenbock), and Tout Mais Le Coller (creamsicle inspired collab with Noble), I'm wondering if perhaps the New French Oak Bois and the Late Harvest Syrah & BT blend will just be limited to the two bottles that each Hoarder gets included in membership? In other words no need (or ability) to spend anything more on those than we spent on original membership.

Sorry to quote myself but the Bruery did just confirm this by email to Hoarders, no additional sales of the last 2 Hoarder exclusives.

Any speculation as to whether any excess Grey Monday will be available for sale? Maybe a 50 case stress test release a la the Chocolate Rain one they did?

I'd help stress test again for Grey Monday.

Why would they stress test anything now? Not happening.

At best, you could hope that they do their 12 days of Christmas sale and have Grey Monday as one of the days.

    When does this generally begin?

    12 days before christmas.

edit: it's similar to their anniversary month sale, so it's not an online thing.

And typically the last few days of it are just re-releases of the past years 12 days of X-mas verticals. Though last year's ended with BA 2TD.

City Beer in SF will be doing a bottle release of the Wanderer batch 2 on 12/14, plus a bunch of other Bruery beers being poured:

So much for Wanderer being a "Society Exclusive". Not to mention, people who go to City Beer can purchase a case, where Society members can only snag 6. I don't get it...

I'm not butt hurt about that. It's one location, they're not shipping, and no discount (I assume). And I have a feeling as with most sours this year there will be plenty for us after allocations are up.

It was the same way for Bottleworks XII, with Bottleworks being able to sell bottles at their store.

"Society exclusive" and they can buy an entire case. What a joke.

What I find more odd is that City Beer is getting a keg of Confession. Reserve Society didn't even get to to try that :slight_frown:

To be fair, City Beer does say "subject to change" on their site RE: the case limit...

and also to be fair to the Bruery, since this was a collab, for their distribution, it *is* a society exclusive. But, it's City Beer's beer too...and they can distribute however they want, I would imagine.

It was available in the tasting room as part of a flight the week of November 21, and as a limited pour for RS members the week of October 17th.

As far as the bitching about Wanderer...the beer was originally brewed for City Beer Store, it shouldn't come as any surprise that they're going to be selling it again. The Bruery has no control over how they limit purchases of their allocation, but I would imagine there will be some leftover bottles for sale via The Bruery after the allocation period is over.
