Hard to compare it to the SitR fruit variants, but I will say it is several degrees better than regular Oude Tart. It is one of my favorite sours they produce, along with SitR w/peaches.

dammit i was hoping allocations would be a little less. loosk like white chocolate will be sold at hte tasting room which is pretty neat. but i freaking love that beer and will be picking up atleast 4 (and by the way things are goign ill be able to buy more down the line)
can u really have too much good beer? cus quite honestly, looking at the store the bruery has been killing it this year.

    heres my money :stuck_out_tongue:

    will definely max on cherry

They've been killing it with the sours recently and I'm salivating at the thought of Oude Tart with Cherries. I hope they don't sell out as I'd like to pick up more than my allocation.

I guess no pie beer? Oddly that was mentioned in the latest tasting room blog (was supposed to be available for tasting on the 11th) but then they removed it. I guess someone decided it wasn't quite ready for prime time?

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't really care for White Chocolate? I think it's an interesting beer but not something I need to regularly drink and so I only grabbed one.

current amount spent on the bruery= $1500! and we havnt even gotten to BT or GM... i cant even imagine what the hoarders $ numbers are at.

tons of deliciousness tho, choco rain, kumquat, blueberry and all the bois (which are all fantastic!!) and still more big boys to come. i got to tone down my allocations but they all sound so delicious. OT here i come

Doubt I'll buy anything from this round of allocations - the only one that piques my interest at all is the Cherry Oude Tart, but I'm not much of a fan of the regular version, so how much better the fruit addition would make it is questionable. Besides, I'm already anticipating the incoming wallethurt from the AleSmith and DDG releases. Ow.

I can add 108 bottle of BW XII to my cart right now. It's only $1,700!

So no limit on these anymore?

That's how the leftover bottles have been sold every single time so far, except when there weren't very many (Chocolate Rain).

I know, I already purchased what I wanted the first go around, but just thought it was funny I could add that much to my cart. How long till a shop/bar owner swoops in and buys $2k worth of bottles?

I don't think the people who resell are that stupid. At the markups you need to charge that shit just won't sell, especially since basically everyone in California who wants these beers already has a membership. If Freddy (or whoever) wanted 100's of bottles of BXII they'd be gone already.

To be fair it mellowed out a bit with time, but I don't think it did nearly enough for me to like it. I get why other people do, it's just not for me. And doesn't one come with the membership?

A bottle of last year's batch was included in the initiation package, we don't get a free bottle of this year's batch.

Ah, right, well, I still think I'm fine. 4 bottles left from last year is more than enough.

I was pleasantly surprised by White Chocolate and it was better than I expected it to be. Still deciding how many I want to buy but it's a good beer to give as extras or burn with a group of friends on random occasions.

Did you happen to already buy 12 bottles. I noticed that the limit is set to about 120 for a few beers
