My wife just went by Provisions to get some Autumn Maple for tomorrow and was told by an employee that they didn't have it anymore as it was "sour". First I heard of this here or on RB. Anyone else know more details?

I've had it recently. Didn't impress me, mediocre at best IMO. Hope you enjoy more than I did for the $15 price tag.

It was a bad batch. All the infected bottles should be pulled from the shelves.

Did this just happen this week? They were promoting it as of this past weekend. The 2009 batch was a little off with carbonation but hadn't heard much this year. On tap a few weeks back seemed as good as it has been.

I had the 2012 AM on tap at the tasting room in the middle of September and it tasted just fine. I wonder if the problem is only in the bottles.

Never was a fan of this beer. Glad I didn't buy any.

Had a bottle last week and it was fine, not sour at all. Also having a bottle tomorrow with Thanksgiving dinner.

And CommanderOfAwesome, where did you pay $15 for Autumn Maple? You shouldn't be paying more than $10.

If it was anything like the 100% brett version from last year, that would be amazing

Bummer. I don't think I'd pay over $10 for it. I got some at Total Wine for $8.99 after using a dollar off coupon.

Anyways I'll report back after Thanksgiving dinner if there are any abnormalities with my bottle.

Had the previous years batch. Only a bottle or two. Not a big fan. Thought I saw on their FB page advertising a special on this batch. Maybe their way of trying to dump it off.

No need to fret, anyone. It was only one bottling date. I forget which one though.

Maybe it's just me but I didn't like it at all. Tastes slightly sour but I think as a whole I'm not a fan of pumpkin/yam beers.

They have bottle dates now or is it something on the case? Never noticed them on recent bottles of other bruery stuff.

Hi All-- we're aware of the issue and are currently investigating where the bottles have been distributed. We'll have details on refunds / exchanges within the next few days.

    Thanks,

Seems like this is happening more often. As the demand goes up every year the quality goes down?
