Bruery Barrel Aged Night

So is this at the Bruery or the barrel room?

 

Tasting room is closed for the party, so I'm guessing it's at the tasting room. I don't think there's room in the warehouse anymore. Ratebeer had their great tasting event there this summer, and was an awesome place for a bottle share. I just don't think there is room to set up for an event like this there anymore.

 

the bottle of Melange #3 you get is a 2011, not 2012, so that definitely makes the higher price worth it.

 

Not for me, I'm still sitting on a half case of 2011 Melange 3.

 

I hate asking again, but does anyone have an extra ticket for the 8 PM session tomorrow? Thanks.

 

Can someone please get this man a ticket? The world is a better place with his tick-boner at full attention at all times.

Sans Pagaie is drinking awesomely... dare I say this may be the best kriek brewed in America?

Correction to the above, they did not have barrel aged or bourbon Autumn Maple, but rather Barrel Fermented Autumn Maple.

 

I think Cable Car Kriek is superior. And this is coming from a LA hater.

Hey, Jake. We actually did have both Barrel Fermented and Bourbon Barrel Aged Autumn Maple at the party (and will have them both as well tonight). I hope I didn't mis-inform Jer when he asked "What happened to Bourbon Barrel Aged Autumn Maple this year?". When I answered that we didn't have any this year, I assumed he was asking about the bottled release (that didn't happen this year, but we are anticipating for next year), not the presence of bottles at the party.

I didn't get a chance to try this, but it sounded great. Is it going to be an RS release?

This was an outstanding event, though I do wish it had lasted an extra half hour or so. Personal favorites were 2012 chocolate rain, 2010 bt, and the wanderer.
