Bruery Canteen Growlers

I have filled mine several times with no problem. I have yet to get the hiss like I do from a normal growler, but issues with it being flat

Just have them check the serial #'s on them when you get there.

 

I've only filled mine once so far but no leaking problems. It was so tight I had a hard time opening it. Even had that problem after re-closing it myself lol.

Anyone know if the Bruery will fill it if the other cap is on it? Or will I have to play a cap switching game at fill time?

 

They don't care about the cap you use. So you are good if you switch.

 

I have had no issues with mine either. I usually give it a good twist to make sure it is on tight when they hand it back...

Sorry to hear about the troubles for others.

 

Filled one up on Saturday for the guy i trustee for, I made sure I tightened it as much as I could and it still leaked as I drove home. Went back Sunday and they replaced it with a new one that once again leaked on my drive home.

 

I actually watched someone fill theirs up at Toolbox this past weekend and it leaked. Although each person behind the counter basically all tried to tighten it, definitely quite the sight.

But they did comment on that they should consume the beer quickly and/or get a new better-fitting cap.
