So the celebration was great. But the take home was awful. I have to say, I took home my bottles of 2011 BT, but at the end, was unable to take home my taster glasses. Not sure what happened, but it was a fail in terms of getting home our glasses to take home. At the end of the night, they told us there was no more glass ware left, and my roommate and i went home with just the 2011 BT, not the glass ware that we were promised. Bruery fail.

Respectfully, I suspect that you may not have approached the issue in the best of ways, if you approached it at all. I was at the Tasting Room for the second session and the session ended with several glasses unused and available; at least a dozen or more at the check in desk, if not many more.

I also question "what happened" since you were given the promised glass in which to taste the beers being offered! What did you taste the beer in? Your hand?

And, if nothing else and assuming that something did happen if you were at Provisions, I'm sure a simple request and you'd have been able to pick up a glass relatively "down the street" at the Tasting Room or have one saved for you.

Again respectfully, this just doesn't ring true to me. (Perhaps too much 20% beer??)

2011 BT? We're vintages available for purchase (beyond 2012)? Sorry to hear about your glass situation, if you email them they will probably hook you up.

A bottle of BT '11 was included in the ticket price for the Tasting Room. Provisions, which offered more/different food, I think, included at bottle of BT '12.

Being that it was fresh last night, and too much 20%, I'll admit I over-reacted. The celebration was great and I really can't complain about any of the beers that were being poured or the atmosphere. It was awesome.

However, not getting glasses, while part my fault is still a Bruery issue. Let me explain. We were up at the bar drinking the delicious Grey Monday when they were started telling everyone to leave. We finished up and since we were the last people there, we were kinda rushed out. Since you usually don't take your glass with you, I'll admit, we left them. But, as soon as we got out the door we remembered the glasses and turned around to go get them. After getting back in and seeing the glasses not on the bar, we asked someone about them. He went in the back and came out telling us there was no more glassware. And since we were literally the last people to leave, I know another attendee didn't take them. The girls at the front looked toward the guy we talked to inside and again said they couldn't give us glassware.

Sorry Bruery, for the name of this thread. The party was awesome, a staff member being dishonest about glasses was not.

I second GRG1313's question. What the hell happened to the glass you were given at the beginning? All tasting events I have ever gone to give you a glass at the beginning, that is the glass you took home. Sounds like someone was drunk lost their glass, or forgot they even had one, and when asking about getting one at the end of the night were told no.

edit since you responded: Sounds 100% your fault. I am guessing they truly couldn't find your glasses and had already put the other ones away, I doubt they want to hoard a bunch of glasses made for a one time event.

I guess you can say that if that's what you want to call it. I'm well aware of my part in forgetting my glass, but see the post above about how it was handled. I was upset at them, now I'm more upset at myself.

give them a call or e-mail today and see if they have extra now and can give you one. I am sure the workers were tired, busy, and ready to go home last night, so they probably didn't have time to hunt around for where the glasses went, and also might have been trying to ward off two people who could have been drunk trying to get more swag. Now that things have calmed down from last night, I would guess if they have extra glassware they could set some aside for you.

Oh boo hoo, you got drunk and forgot your glass. Is there a fund set up to accept donations for your loss?

Just write a letter making sure they know next time to check everyone leaving and do a cavity search for glasses. If they for some reason were too drunk on massive beers to remember one, give them one filled up with quarters for their trouble. I think this is the most reasonable solution
