Nah, I threw this question up before the unwanted whales BIF started. Funny both beers showed up on the list though.

These beers seem to fly under the radar for some reason even though they're highly rated. Still very hard to land simply because bottle counts were so low.

Interesting side note, while the Rye seems to be the most wanted now (it is the best tasting in my book) it was actually the Bourbon that is technically rarest, as it sold out before it was actually released.

What was funny is early on I thought Bourbon Levuds would be worth the most in wale value, then it turns out I should have bought cases of Partridge. The Bourbon Levuds I think is actually aging pretty interestingly, the oaky flavors are melding with some developing oxidation quite nicely.

Bourbon was something like 150 bottles, right? Was certainly the hardest one for me to track down.

If my memory serves me, I think they were all around 150 bottles. A lot of people just bought one bottle and the one they bought was usually the bourbon. When the beers were released the Brandy and Rye were still available for purchase, but the Bourbon sold out during the presale. They all had a 1 limit in the presale, so it is quite rare to find someone with more than one Bourbon.

I vaguely recall there being fewer bottles of the 100% bourbon version because they dumped a lot of the bourbon barrels into the 25% -bal aged Papier.

I remember there being around 200 bottles each of Rye and Brandy, and 150 of Bourbon. Also, I think the scarcity of Bourbon was augmented because it sold out during presale.
