Looking forward to the new anniv venue and what not. The trek from MN every May is one I always look forward to.

With that out of the way - just finished Holy BOP - jesus christ this might be one of the most acidic sours I've had from the Bruery. Right there with Mother Funker. My tongue and roof of my mouth is raw like I've been sucking on sour patch kids for the last 3 hours. Great flavor and balance, tough to drink due to the enamel melting acid.

"Couchaversary" special box set: like the BT box but with Anniversary variants, for those of us out of the area and not able to attend to play along from home.

Shuttle from either tasting room would be great, shuttle from ARTIC station would be amazing. I've always appreciated being able to hit the anniversary party without getting in a car.

If you don’t want to guzzle imperial stouts for hours are you really a society member?

    I'd love a 16oz growler, and fills.

i would be happy to pay a reasonable sum for a shuttle from ARTIC to the party site. Admittedly, my reasons are a little selfish since I live so close to it, but it would allow people that live farther to either drive in or train in. Also, people would have a little time to sober up before picking up their car at the train station, or hopping the train to their home station.

As of this moment, Metrolink has a train that leaves ARTIC At 6:51 pm on Saturday afternoon and arrives at LA Union Station at 7:57 pm. This actually sounds like a workable deal.

I think the “Punisher” should hit up Elon Musk to provide a full self driving shuttle service in Model Xs for the Anniversary party. Beneficial for everyone. I imagine most of us will be too drunk to notice there isn’t anyone driving the car.

I've been taking the Amtrak to the Anniversary party for years. Its always been a great, safe option. A shuttle from/to ARTIC would be nice.

Well if you don’t want a 16oz growler, looks like someone listed a custom 64oz Bruery growler for $1,200. Sounds like a deal. Ha

I had a can of Mash & Vanilla last night and damn it was good! When the original came out in 2016 I thought is was perfectly fine, but not something I needed to buy more of, but I might need a few more of this new batch (rare exception to the "first batch was better" phenomenon?)

This new batch, to me, was a touch more sweet (but not cloying), and a little less carbonated. My main criticism of the original was that it was a little overcarbed and under sweetened for what I wanted from the beer, so it may be subjectively (not objectively) better than batch one.

Thoughts on Baklava Tart? I was convinced I’d buy another box after having Grain In and OMCherry, but Baklava derailed that plan.
