I think it is a barleywine. White Oak is a wheatwine, but that is blended with mischief

The primary component of our "White Oak" ale is a 100% barrel aged wheat wine that we affectionately refer to as "White Oak Sap."

I'd rather they'd White Oak Sap first before giving it other treatments.

    Also, Vanilla Bean Black Tuesday

So it turns out I'm an idiot and totally thought that Grey Monday was Vanilla Bean Black Tuesday. Le sigh. Still fucking pumped to try it though! :grinning:

I loved White Oak, and I'm sure I'll love this. Probably gonna max out.

Oddly, White Oak Sap is retired on this site. Weird.

Is this going to be RS only or will it be sold in Provisions?

The food geek in me is disturbed that they put cocoa nibs in something called white chocolate.

Better than using cocoa butter and having another "Deschutes Black Butte XXII" debacle on our hands

RS Only is my understanding, though I don't see anything in the announcement to confirm that

Is Oude Tart going to be distributed? I thought I saw it on a list of beers that The Bruery was planning to funnel into distribution?

Shouldn't have been a fiasco. That beer is freaking delicious and should have been released, appearance be damned.
