Lady and I will be in town in about a week, looking for a good place for brunch with a decent tap selection. Any suggestions?
Last time I was in SD I went here, loved the freaking food, and they have a very extensive tap selection. Will go back!! https://slaters5050.com/locations/san-diego/
Small Bar has brunch right? Or am I just getting confused since they have a killer hang over cure of a bloody mary?
Sure there is - it is in the Gaslight Quarter. Seriously, I'm not sure it is a real brunch, but O'Brien's is practically walking distance, has decent chow, and usually a more than decent tap list.
I'll chime in for Tiger! Tiger! Their fried chicken on a biscuit is great. Craft and Commerce also does an excellent brunch, but their tap list is kind of limited. You can always pick up some of the best donuts in southern California from Donut Bar and some canned beer from Best Damn Beer shop (Krisp) around the corner and go drink it in Balboa Park: http://sandiegofreepress.org/2013/0...-alcohol-friendly-public-spaces-in-san-diego/. That's a link to where exactly you can drink and at what time.
