My dad will be there this Saturday. I would like to have him bring me back some nice lambics that would not otherwise be available to me in Chicago. Any advice on breweries, bottles or bottle shops to look for is appreciated.
Cantillon should have Vig and standard others available. Have him buy what he can there and I am sure you will be happy PS from 1-4pm they will have their new space open for the public to visit. Just around the corner from brewery. He will get a great feel for the craftsmanship if he can visit these places

Yes it's in Brussels and you could walk from Grand Place in about 20 minutes or so. I took the train from Bourse to Lemonnier which was about 2 short stops. From there it's about a 5 minute walk. Check out google maps. I visited Cantillon on my first day there and did not take any beers away with me foolishly believing I could easily find a good range of their beers elsewhere in Brussels. I was so wrong and regret it even now! If your Dad can swing by Cantillon it's your best bet!
