Yea I disliked the place, even the guide is kind of mum on it.

Hoppy Loft on the first floor of the Delirium Pub is great though...

You should still check out Delirium and form your own opinion. Go early to avoid the crowd. You will have the place to yourself with thousands of beers to choose from. I'll be over there in April myself for my 13th visit. It is in a bit of a tourist trap area, but I still like to walk through what I call the gauntlet of restaurants, to get there.

I'll be at cantillon Monday April 14th with lots of fresh alpine and Russian river IPA's. I'll try to bring some cans of heady topper. Will also bring some bourbon county too if anyone wantsnto try that. If anyone is interested in meeting up, let me know. Only going to be in Brussels for a day. Will be back the following week.

So I heard bottles of St. Lam, both LP's are running low at Cantillon. If anyone wants to go out of their way and buy me 3-4 of each bottle and hold it till Next sunday or Monday, I will give them 1 Alpine Nelson, 1 Alpine Pure Hoppiness, 1 Pliny the Elder, BCBS or BCBW, and I'll pay for all the bottles. So you get fresh IPA's in return for your help! BM and we can talk.

    Thanks!

Just as a backup plan, St. Lam and LP kriek were both on shelf yesterday at De Bierschuuren in the 'burbs, FYI, in case that helps. Would entail a car or taxi of.... probably not more than 10 euros each way from a metro. (I know there's a formula that I could figure out, and I think someone posted it in the recent thread on Nacht van de Grote Dorst. Which I'm missing to attend a wedding abroad that CLEARLY wasn't scheduled correctly.) This isn't really the place to discuss it, but I have to share the burden of noting that three dusty 3F Hommages were also on the shelf, "price on demand." They quoted me 100 euros although I had already made it clear I wasn't biting so maybe not a "real" price.

They told me 100€ for a btl of hommage when I was there about 2 weeks ago, I laughed and moved on.

Thanks everyone for the great. If anyone is driving to night of the great thirst and can me and a buddy a ride, please let me know. Can bring great beers to share and pay the costs. Also, I was given several bottles of alpine chez monus (peach/apricot) sour and alpine great to share with everyone who can make it to cantillon Monday the 14th.
