I'd love to know who's got it.

 

Will start showing up in the majority of the Metro next week, should be fairly easy to track down based on the # of cases the Dist. said they received...

 

excited to give this a try.

 

Wow! Good news, hopefully I can get my hands on a bottle or two.

 

Just picked up 3 bottles from a favorite shop of mine. Still about 20 bottles left.

I won't wait for it to 'maybe' make an appearance in Rochester.. just going to have to stock up in the cities I suppose.

 

It hit Louisiana earlier this week. The store I have a couple bottles on hold at only got 3 cases, so he's limiting people. He hopes he can get more though...as do I because I wanted at least 3.

 

Sounds like I will have some next week.

Agreed. Even if we get it here I'm Roch, it won't show up for a few weeks. I checked with Andy's and they didn't know...although they also don't know when Roch is getting Bitter Brewer yet everyone else seems to have it.

 

They weren't sure if we were getting any up in St. Cloud, though they did get a case of FMB and I didn't buy a bottle. I'm more interested in trying Brux right now.

Do you typically get Surly seasonals in Roch? I don't think we got any Bitter Brewer last year, maybe we got some 2 years ago?

 

We get everything in Roch, it is just usually 2-4 weeks after it is released in the cities and in less quantities. It took about 5 weeks for Bitter Brewer to hit the shelves after it was available in the cities. Special releases like Darkness or founders KBS were a week after TC release. A couple of the liquor stores in town just don't seem to know much about releases so you have to call around. Cap N Cork, while small and new, appears to really be on top of staying up to date on the info. I was looking for Boulevard BBQ and they didn't get any, yet told me where to go in town that got a shipment. That's class and I try to hit them up as much as possible

 

Anyone pickup any BRUX yet and try it?

 

Got yes, tried no. The NYC sour/wild folks thought it was a little sweet/young yet so I'll wait for additional trusted opinions before opening. Very much looking forward to it though.

 

Picked up a bottle at Haskell's in Chanhassen last week. I do not plan on drinking it anytime soon.

 

How much dinero is it going for?
