The only bad thing about being on vacation- I get home to find out about this AFTER it is sold out.

No, it wasn't. It was just sold on the society site, but was open to the public.

The original email seems to state otherwise:

    Dear Reserve Society member,
Black Tuesday, our bourbon barrel aged imperial stout, will be released this year on October 30th and as always, we'll be throwing a celebration in conjunction with the release. In fact, we'll be throwing two celebrations this year and we are only inviting members of our Reserve Society!
Unlike years in the past when we featured Black Tuesday alongside a selection of our year round beers and current seasonal selections, this year we are going for a total blackout - BlackTuesdayout that is. We will have simultaneous events occurring at The Bruery Tasting Room and The Bruery Provisions, each featuring a selection of up to 6 Black Tuesday variants and vintages

Nope, in the email as RS only, unless you are counting the guests being brought as "public"

QFT. BT was a mess, and if that was reason not to brew a beer, The Bruery probably wouldn't be around lol

It being a mess was the reason they gave for not wanting to brew it again. There are messes and there are messes.

Of course, I'm sure we can all agree that there exists a price for which it would be worth their while to make again. But that's beside the point.

Oh crud, I just caught the vintages bit on the email. Meh...

My guess is that they'll at least do one BT variant.

Just curious, for all those doing the tasting room what made you decide that over the Provisions one? Both sounded good to me and it was hard to choose.

Provisions tickets were more rare/limited - so it must be better, right?

Going solo to Tasting Room Session B…
I would love to see Black Tuesday 12, Grey Monday, and four new variants, but I doubt that would be realistic. This would be my guess -

    Tasting Room -
    New Mystery Variant
    Grey Monday
Chocolate Rain or Cherry Chocolate Rain
    BT 12
    BT 11
    BT 10

    Provisions -
    New Mystery Variant
    Grey Monday
Chocolate Rain or Cherry Chocolate Rain
    BT 12
    BT 09
    + better food.

or maybe you could trade tickets with somebody from the A session. Or he could trade for B session tix with someone.

I would be very surprised if 09 BT showed up at either spot. They have said (at least twice) that there just isn't much of that left. They had to "pull" it from the line up at the barrel house party last year (though it did show up in a limited quantity and mostly for those in the know).
