Side Project is a bit different. You don't visit the brewery. You visit their Cellar which is 99% onsite consumption. They rarely have bottles to go. They do have amazing stuff on draft, cask, and in bottles. There's no food and you can't bring any in. You have to go to random bottle releases at Perennial's brewery, which is nowhere nearby. I'm usually at work when they do releases. This is why I haven't had much of their stuff and I'm in St. Louis. They make it work.

For sure, the cellar is what I would have been targeting. Their beer is 100% inaccessible to me, so a visit to the cellar to sit down and drink their beer would be awesome.

Live Oak was a fun stop the first week of this month. The Pilz was as good as always, and the Rauchbier was surprisingly good for an American brewery.

On your original list, been to all but Weihenstephaner. Went to Paulaner, only to find that the brewery Keller had burned a few months before. Does that count? Maybe not.

    My list:
    Pilsner Urquell
    Schönram
    Traunstein
    Rothaus
    Waldhaus

    US
    Balebreaker
Bierstadt Lagerhaus in Denver when they open
Ones opened by guys I know around the country.

I didn't major in geography, but MA doesn't seem like such a tough trip from PA. Just go. It's a great place to visit.

I'm fortunate to be able to tack a lot of brewery visits onto family and work travel. I've hit a lot of the SoCal and NoCal breweries...just missing the central ones (FW, I'm looking at you). However, I did go to the old SLO Brewing Company prior to FW buying and establishing ops there...so maybe that's partial credit.

Next weekend will be my first Dutch brewery: De Molen. Unfortunately, Kees is a little too far out of the way. I'll probably stop at Cantillon on the way back if they have any new releases.

In May, I'll hit Aslin in VA, New England Brewing in CT, and Tree House in MA...if all goes according to plan.

Big ones on my list are the OR, VT, MI, and ME breweries.

I can tell you didn't major in geography. Six hours is a haul to go to a brewery.

When you said "Would love to visit Massachusetts" I assumed you would like to visit Massachusetts. Six hours doesn't seem very far for a short vacation there, and the brewery would just be one stop on the trip.
Maybe I just travel a lot. I'm driving 7 hours to the Netherlands for the upcoming long weekend.
