New York City is a riot of sounds. So many around here have relocated and are quiet New Yorkers.

Uh, ummmm, maybe you have no other choice? Or need to quench thirst other than water at a bar in Atlantic City? Or need a cheap buzzz?? (In AC or if your girlfriend or wife dissed you?) And you have no immediate access to Heady Topper or Finest Kind....???

An ice cold bottle of Budweiser is the pinnacle of the old world America. Though on a extremely rare basis, I still enjoy a bottle from time to time because to me its still one of the best AALs for my taste buds (and gives me that nostalgic feeling). I do prefer the world of heavy hopped and crafted ales 99.9% of the time, just as most of us on here.

Actually, I was at a party tonight and they had a Bud long neck. As many have said, nothing bad about it but just not a lot to it - mild, light taste, no off flavor. but, at my age, I'm looking for more taste.

...is this a joke? I'd order a diet coke over a bud any day. Ugh.

40oz bottle for a single serving but if I was buying more it would be a full keg for $80.

Yup, you hit the nail right on the head! Also out of all the beers I've written reviews of for this site, regular old buttwiper clocks in for the lowest score any of the beers I've written , clocking in at 1.2 out of 5. Even by American macro adjunct lager standards, for a beer this "beer" just sucks! Period!

I'd rather just have water than drink budweiser...never really enjoyed it, even in my poor high school and college days.

When I was in high school at a kegger in someone's basement. Cans, kegs, it didn't matter then. Now it's only good for a Brat hot tub.

I think as long as your super patriotic you have to drink it out of the new patriotic 16 ounce aluminum Statue of Liberty bottle. I'm not a fan of Budweiser but I think I'm going to buy a three pack put my hand over my heart and recite the pledge of allegiance after every swig.

But then you can't act super cool because you wouldn't let that beer touch your lips. It's the same thing when people talk about food and it's super hip to discuss how you would never eat at McDonalds but I'm super cool guy because I go to In N Out. (Actually in their defense people really shouldn't eat at McDonalds. It's fucking disgusting). But I digress. While I'm not necessarily a huge fan of Budweiser I think it has a place in a true beer advocates mouth.
