    Long necks back in the day, pounded a lot of cans (12oz) and had a wild time trying to finish off a pony keg by holding it on my shoulder drinking from the tap hose...it was during a Super Bowl....well 3 AM on the Monday after the game and I didn't want to return it with beer in it...it was one of the Buffalo Bills falling short SB's.

    That is the kind of guy you pray doesn't sit next to you in a bar. Some people just have to let you know that what they like is better than what you like. It just boils down to insecurity. Nice job calling him on it.

    I've read of a blind taste test where it was only bottles and cans, with 4 brands of beer. People could pick out which beer was from the can just over half the time, so I don't think the difference is as pronounced as some say it is. Of course, if you are drinking it straight from the can it might be different... Maybe the taste of the top of the can is what people like.

    Those types are a lot more fun (is that the right word?) online than in person, no question. But I like to think that in person, most of us aren't too bad and could enjoy a cold one together even if we wouldn't admit it online. Maybe.

    In my opinion Bud is a pretty solid AAL. I do not, however, understand why everybody chooses Bud Light over it. Neither are religious experiences, But if you're drinking it why not pay the same price for a bit more alcohol?.

    In terms of AAL's ( I think its an AAL at least ), My favorite would probably be Molson Golden. It's cheap, fairly tasty, And I've yet to give it to somebody who didn't end up liking it, craft drinkers alike.
