Well, that's not where the Brewers Association has been drawing the line since 2014, when they changed their definition (again) of "Craft Brewer" to allow breweries like Yuengling, August Schell and other old-line, pre-craft small brewers with AAL flagship beers to fall under the craft designation by adding "traditional"...

Lots of all-malt beers from non-craft brewers and, of course, this one's an Anheuser-Busch product, so...

Seems ambiguous. NEIPAS use wheat or oats for mouthfeel and to soften the beers a bit, still craft. Stouts use all kind of adjuncts, so from an unsophisticated and simplistic point of view it seems like they class the big brewers as AAL no matter what they do based on sheer volume of beer they brew and sell. Right or wrong the descriptions look slanted a bit to me. Could AB ever brew a true craft beer?

AAL is not the opposite of "craft", its just a style of beer. There are " craft" AALs, and non craft breweries make all malt beers. BMC, used to be the short hand for the big industrial brewers that I saw most often . and yes, volume of beer brewed is basically the only metric that determines whether a brewer is "craft" or not in the eyes of the BA.

Most people who care seem to draw their own line based on their own criteria, or ignore the idea of a line all together
