I just moved to Buffalo (originally from Buffalo, but haven't lived there for a while). Are there any trade groups/people to know/accounts to follow about beer releases? It's weird that Pittsburgh is so prevalent on this forum, when Buffalo is like a mute, and gets such better distribution (Not a knock, I love Pittsburgh, I've lived in Pittsburgh through undergrad and law school). If any one has good accounts to follow, I'd appreciate. I'd love to hear about releases and trading opportunities.
How much of that better distribution is Bourbon County? How much money would you like to make providing additional Bourbon County to this area?
Bourbon County isn't that difficult to find when it's released. The variants are a little tougher, but Buffalo saw everything, aside from Proprietor's last year.
There was a core group that got together and did shares. My in-laws live in East Aurora and I met up with some folks a few years back over the holidays. I think most of those guys are no longer on this site.
With your expertise, what's the best beer for washing down genuine local Buffalo chicken wings and beef on weck? You might even suggest specific pairings with various wings' heat levels (e.g. Anchor Bar's Insanity level). And, please, don't consider Genny Cream in this gourmet-level culinary study. BTW, Bills shoulda won that Superbowl, right?
