Holy fucking shit, I want to buy 2 bottles just based on this post alone. I'm off on Wed - What time do I need to be at the brewery?

Any other stuff for sample? - I've really only had Gingerbread Stout from you guys so far.

True, lol. I didn't mean anything by it. He just got some a week before it came out. I'll grab a few bottles when I get a chance.

Was thinking of passing on the price point, but it is responses and comments from brewers like this that get me all riled up in supporting local breweries.

Honesty and being friendly will go a long way on these boards.

    Cheers!

I'll make sure to pick up 2 bombers today

#BeFriendly <- Not that kind but the real kind lol

I talked to a Buff Brew rep at D&Q today and she said Figaro won't be available on draft anywhere other than at the brewery. I went ahead and bought a bottle. I'm curious enough to try it.

I'm in the same boat as many of y'all -- I was also going to pass due to the combination of price and not knowing how good it is, but Rassul's post 100% swayed me. I grabbed a bottle at lunch and will likely test it out this weekend.

Well, I broke down and bought a bottle to go from D&T. Probably a review shortly...

I split my bottle with a friend today, had pretty much the same reaction as champ103. It's a decent quad, and if you love quads (as I do), then you'll definitely enjoy the beer. But, for me, it's not good enough to justify a rebuy at that price.

I enjoy 1836 and want to pick up a bottle of this... just one should be enough to share with a friend.

I really liked this. My only slight knock is I wished it was just a touch more carbonated. Very delicious but by the time I finished it just seemed to be a but flat. But the flavors! Definitely worth trying one.

I was able to try at the JK bottle share and they held up quite well with the other quads we drank.

Hey everyone, thanks for the positive feedback!

Yeah I try to read everything on these forums, but I've been just too busy to participate as much as I wish I could. It's the same as how I personally try to be at all of our releases & out there meeting everyone and listening. My personal pet peeve with certain small breweries is that they live in their ivory tower & don't listen enough. But for what it's worth, even if I'm not actively responding to every post, we're listening, learning & trying our hardest to keep on point. If you have questions, I'll always be honest & transparent, or at least tell you why I can't be direct about answering. Most of you who have met me know I'm never one to mince words, or shy away from a good beer conversation!

Wednesday is a definite go! I am not a man who discusses bottle shares carelessly! Let's meet at the brewery 7pm. Bring your big boy pants, bc I'll have some gems ready. Our cellar is pretty dry right now, but I should have some special stuff for the first responders. Of course the figaro will flow like water, & I'll grab some other quads & also print up a little research on the style so interested parties can understand the creative decisions that went into it. But really it'll be more about hanging out & chatting inside baseball.

I was asked by someone if they could tweet about this bottle share. I see it as a "thank you for caring" sort of thing for y'all who are on the BA forums day-in day-out, not a go tell it on the mountain so that civilians will join. Bring a friend (but not 10) & it'll be more of a speakeasy, inside baseball chat sort of event rather than a frat-boys-on-a-brew-tour blast it out sort of event.

Any questions, my email is [email protected]
