Back in early May, a group of my wifes friends all thought it would be a great idea that if we all did the Buffalo Zombie Mud Run on September 14th. Well, I was all for it because I thought it would be a lot of fun and am a fat fuck in need of losing some weight...basically, I am sick of maintaining this sexy BA build. I started running around the end of May and have been going since then.

Fast Forward to today....I am the only one of the 'wifes group of friends' who actually registered for this race. Basically, I have dropped just short of 20 pounds and am going kind of strong. I have been updating my progress on my personal blog (see profile).

The race is a 5K (3.1 miles) mud run with 13 obstacles along the way. Throughout the course are zombies who basically stand there and dont do much but there are also 5 chase zombies who start the run 5 minutes after we do. Each runner gets three lives, once the lives are gone...so is the race. But, if I manage to stay ahead of the chase zombies and somehow make it across the finish line with at least one life left...then winner winner chicken dinner.

So...I am sending three bottles to the winner of the LIF (open only to those in the lower 48 states) and there are several ways to post an answer...
    A) I survive the run at a time of ....(must be in minutes and seconds, closest without going over)
    - or -
    B) I died but made it .... miles (must be closest in tenths of a mile without going over)(IE. 2.2 miles)

Thats its...if I die, then the box goes to the first person who comes closest to my maximum distance without going over....or if I survive, then the box goes to the first person who comes cloest to my time without going over wins the bottles. One guess per person.

Here are some hints about me....
    1. When I started running, I weighed 262.0 pounds
    2. I have been consistently running 5 kilometers in just under 30 minutes over the past three weeks.
    3. One of the bottles that I am sending has the word Zombie on it (and its a killer).
    4. I have a blog with three threads (soon to be 4) tracking my progress of running.

    Ready...set....go!

I say you finish in 36:17 - this accounts for time stopped at complete the obstacles. I know last one I did I spent lots of time waiting

Yeah throughout the race there are lifeline tents that will give you lives back so you can still finish the race. No worries you'll finish before any of those Zombie bastards can get you
