Got a silver medal at the Colo State Fair this year! No trading needed, I gladly share with anyone who will give me input.

No I have not, this is the first I have heard of it. I'll keep an eye open, though looking at the picture of the bottle I don't have any recollections of seeing it in any of my bottle shops.

If I could build my own, here's what I think I would come up with:

A sessionable belgian waffle milk stout. It would have the underlying coffee/chocolate notes from the milk stout, a bit of creaminess from the addition of the lactose, and then throw in some vanilla sugar for that lingering, buttery sweetness of freshly baked belgian waffle dough. And for the pièce de résistance - since Brussels-style waffles are traditionally made using ale yeast… it only makes sense to use a Belgian yeast strain for this beer.

Whether that would work - who knows? I'd give it a shot though.

If I could replicate Devil Mountain Railroad's 5 Malt Ale. It was obviously a malt-forward dark ale, no more than 35 IBUs, and just... my perfect beer.

    *sigh*

I've had a lot of world class and/or rare BA stouts and I honestly couldn't say any where superior to good old BCBS. On the same level? sure some but in my heart of hearts I've never found one that I thought was truly better.

An Oude Gueuze using Lambics brewed at Cantillon aged in various barrels including Cognac, blended by Armand from Drie Fonteinen. Then cellared for 10-15 years in an old bomb cellar in the middle of Brussels. It would be sublime. And the greatest whale ever.
