Im starting some research to build a brew shed in our back yard. I think this will be a cellar temp shed to store beer and grain. Im thinking Ill have the shed in the 60's to easily ferment ales and store beer. Im considering having a fridge in there to keep at cellar temp for some nicer long term storage.

What sort of experience or advice do you guys have? I live in Texas so advice on cooling units and insulation would be good. Also good resources for an affordable shed that looks nice.

We just dont have enough room in the house for all my beer so this is the logical answer... I think I will keep my brew day gear in the garage still. I just need somewhere to keep grain and beer.

Are you going to put in an actual celler?

I live pretty close to the coast so I wasnt planning to go below ground if thats what you mean. Im just going to make a cool happy place to ferment and age my beers.
