    Hey all,

Would love your recommendations for a built in kegerator. I currently have a modified Keezer that I built and works great, but we're remodeling our kitchen to include a full bar with a built-in beer dispenser. I initially was considering commercial units by True or Bev-Air but since it's in the kitchen, I'm a little concerned about the noise. So now I'm mostly considering units by True (residential line), Perlick, or Marvel. Marvel is the cheapest but probably for a reason. Basically, I'm wondering about comparisons between the following units: the True unit, the Perlick C-series, and the Perlick Signature series. It seems like the biggest difference between Perlick's Signature series and C-series is the compressor (1000 BTU variable speed vs 525 BTU standard, respectively). I don't know how much difference that will make in practice, and I don't even know what the True unit has and whether it's more comparable to the C-series or Signature series. Finally, the Marvel unit looks good for the price but doesn't have a tower cooler like eack of the Perlick models and the True model. I feel like this is a necessity. Would buying a separate tower cooler and adding it to the Marvel unit make it comparable to the other setups for a much lower price, or are you losing a lot by doing it that way?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give.

    These are the units:
