to brew no, never. It's just not what I am into HB for. If I want hoppy beer I buy SNPA, I love SA noble pils, but IPA's are just not my thing, never have been. Hops and unbalanced for the sake of being unbalanced (for me) is just not something I want. So it would be really stupid for me to brew 10 gallons of something I would never drink...or would not enjoy.....

One thing I have noticed about bulk hop purchasing is that it's not as easy as I thought to plan to use them up at a certain rate, in a certain time. i.e. I probably bought a few more pounds than I really needed at the time, and now I'm trying to use them up (well, at least the leaf ones I am). It's not like I WAY over-bought, but I certainly did a little. I'm not worried about storage, as they are kept frozen and purged, but still I don't want to have leaf hops sit around too long after they've been opened. Right now tettnanger is open (leaf), and I'll use them up in my next few beers before another leaf bag gets opened (I have three bags of leaf left).

However, that problem is fixin' to go away, as I've got almost everything I need for the ten gallon system to get built, and even have the tools and a helper lined up for sometime in the next couple/three weeks. All I need to do is buy the last few critical pieces, which is a plate chiller and two pumps. I'm researching now, and my LHBS will match prices, so you can be sure I"ll be getting it through them. I pretty much have everything else I need, save for some small change hardware.

Ten gallon batches should use up my hops more at the rate I'd like to. I'll keep that in mind next time I bulk order.

Yes, I decided that my homebrew operations were too small for bulk hops. In the last year, I only brewed 9 times, using a total of 38 oz of hops of 12 different hops. Buying ingredients on a per recipe / as needed basis makes a lot more sense for me.
