Greetings BA's, I need some quick help. My wife and I going to be in the B&B neighborhood tomorrow evening for a bit, which is a real rarity for us, and I am looking to grab some beers to go. I've had most of B&B's bottled options and am a fan, but I'm looking to try some fresh brews on tap. Big thanks to anyone who can advise on the following questions: Does B&B do crowlers to go? What draft offerings, particularly lagers, do you recommend?
I know the B&B about as well as anyone can. 1. Yup, they do. Pretty sure they'll fill crowlers of anything on draft, although maybe not the vintage items or crazy big beers. It's worth asking as they might. They have their full line-up of bottles to go, too. Most are in the case up-front, but the rest should be in the menu. 2. The Vienna is fantastic. It just went on tap last week. The Maibock and Pils are good, too. If you just want the best beers they make, look no further than the Tower ESB, Big Ben Brown, and Release the Hounds. Those have won a pile of medals over the years, including WBC and GABF gold. Their online menu is up to date: https://bullandbush.com/pages/menu#beermenu
If Woody Pils is available, it's a can't-miss. It's a pilsner aged in syrah barrels, and it is one of the more interesting wood-aged beers on the market.
