Anyone tried their beers? I can't bring myself to spend $12 on a a six of an IPA from a new brewery with no buzz.

I've had the Tommy Raj and Iron Balls. Tommy Raj was fine, but not any where near what it should be for the price point. Iron Balls was interesting. I liked a lot of the flavors I got (vanilla, caramel) but wanted something more. I'd try it again, but not for $12.

I've heard good things about their DIPA. Was thinking about making a trip up to the brewery after the holidays.

Also, I hate their plastic six-pack holders.

It may be petty, but I refuse to buy a 6 pack of bottles with a plastic holder.

My first thought was "They have to have problems with breakage, right?"

FWIW HEB has singles available for 1.85. Cheaper than the six pack and without the dumb plastic holder.

Something similar to this. Same concept anyway.

I think their IPA is delicious, if you like English style IPAs -- and I think that Iron Balls is one of the better stouts in Texas.

Thanks. Looks like the one for the cans. I had problems with Red Bud cans having some mold under their plastic lids. Not sure if it was the way HEB stored them or what. Always had to wipe the black mold off the lip of the can.
