Bullfrog Brewery Oud 15 Release

I'm pretty sure the base beers, and the process involved were nothing alike. Terry, who actually brewed and barreled Oud 15, is one of the 5 best wild/sour ale brewers in the US, I think. Meanwhile, Weyerbacher has put out a steady stream of embarrassing barrel aged releases (the raspberry one through multiples batches, then Idiot's Drool) where I would think they have no credibility left in that regard.

 

Out of curiosity what is the best Bullfrog beer you've had? Black Cherry Bomb? Does Oud15 stand up to The Jaspers, Blue Cheer etc? I have not had the chance to open mine yet but plan to soon.

 

The best bottles of Beekeeper were incredibly good, then probably Black Cherry Bomb, then maybe El Diablo Deluxe (not to be confused with El Rojo Diablo which was straight up nasty), which is totally under the radar and is still drinking amazingly well. Frambozen and fresh Unique Singel were really nice too. Blue Cheer was good but never great, and though Jaspers was really nice around release I feel like it became too acedic for my tastes.

Mr Bullfrog has spoken. Other than Terry, nobody has this stuff down better. You have all been schooled.
