Seems pricey. Wasn't the Oud 15 only 20$?

This stuff is amazing. I'm going to have to try to take off for this. In my top three new beers of this year.

I might have to take the day off for this. I have never been to a bull frog release. What is it usually like? When does the line start forming?

I might be going to this. I've never been to a Bullfrog release. Do they put anything special on tap?

For Oud 15 people started lining up pretty early, but everyone who went got their full allotment, and some people went back for seconds/thirds once there was no line. I would think the same would apply here, especially since I don't believe this is one of Terry's beers that's leftover.

This was also unessacary. I got there around 9am I believe and there were like 10 people in line. I parked and waited in my car until right before they opened.

On a side note $25 does seem a bit pricey. Oud 15 was only $20 and it was a 3 bottle limit. Hope they didnt raise the price because there is less to go around, hence the 2 bottle limit.

Actually, I believe it is. I will let others more in the know fill those details in.

Are the bottles being released to Pub Club Members the day before included in this 300ish count?

I'll try to answer a few questions. I can't speak to pricing and I will see if I can find out if pub club is included in the 300.

The beer was originally brewed when Terry was the head brewer at Bullfrog. The base was a Belgian Strong Pale ale that had been in Bullfrog barrels with their house yeast for years. It was transferred to stainless and steeped with sour cherries, vanilla beans, and the new Bullfrog yeast was introduced as well.

There will be a keg of Le Roar Grrrz Druiven tapped on release day. It is a lambic style(my words, not theirs) beer that is barrel aged with wild yeast and steeped in merlot grapes.(there are some reviews on the different Le Roar beers already up on BA if you want a better idea of it's taste)

I can't really speak first hand about the lines, as I can never seem to get a Friday off to attend. Some people definitely arrived very early for the last release, but it didn't end up being necessary as everyone got beer. I would suggest not opening bottles in line, as they are right next to the Williamsport police station. Bottle sharing inside has never seemed to be a problem and the owner/brewer always like to try an interesting beer.

Thanks for the info Avalon. For some reason, I am interested in this and I normally don't focus on BF beers. ISO!

This one and the next 3 are definitely going to be worth it in my opinion. I like Et Tu Brut a lot and absolutely love the new lambic style stuff that's up next.

If that is the case, can I join the club and have bottles put aside and pick them all up at one time since I live about 2 hours 30 mins away?

I don't think the pub club makes it so they will hold bottles...but I'm not a member.
