Exactly. Looks like 5 beers being released. One per person still lets you walk with 5 different beers and that should be plenty for people to enjoy.

Thank god you mentioned this, I was considering asking my mom to make a 2 hour drive and stand in line for me haha

Announce 1 bottle limit, then raise the limit if you have more than enough to accommodate the crowd, or let people go through the line multiple times.

The latter is exactly what happened last year.

I think the past 3 releases at Bullfrog I have been to (Grrz, Et tu Brut, Oud 15) people have been able to get back in line and go through at least once if not more

Yeah but releases in general seem to be busier especially once a beer has some hype to it (i.e. parageusia 2 & 3). Bullfrog does have the benefit of being pretty far from huge cities like Pittsburgh and Philly so I do think that cuts down on attendence but I would honestly be surprised if people can get back in line for the release in May.

The biggest trade offers I saw for the last set were pre-release. There was plenty of hype to that one.

Totally agree with everything your saying but someone above alluded that the bottle counts are higher for this release. I'm not banking on that just expanding on what was said.

I feel like I remember them saying there was 'lots more' grrrz coming out. I don't know if that means 'this release will be bigger' or 'there will be lots of variants, all with super tiny bottle counts'.

    Whatever. I'll be there

We were very conservative on bottle limits. There were approximately 150 people on line when the doors opened for the initial Grrrz release.. It's hard to judge the turn out this time, but the beers seem to have been well received by the public. It was felt that it would be best to err on the side of caution. It is preferable that there is extra after the first run through the line than not enough.

Bottle counts for release day 5/9

    Kriek 800
    Berry 800
    Apricot 400
    Aardbei 400
    CoP 400

Do these numbers include the 100 allotments for pub club members? My guess is since it says "Bottle counts for release day, 5/9" these are the counts without the pub club release, but I just wanted to make sure.

You are correct. Those numbers are separate from the pub club allotment.

Limit on Crime of Passion has been changed to 1. Bottles available on 5/9 remain the same(400)

Thank you. I've loved every Bullfrog release I've ever been to, and this one I'm sure will be no different. Having lower limits and then allowing people to go back through is SO much better than doubling the limit and having people get in line at 5am just to avoid getting shut out. 400 allocations separate from pub club members is fantastic news.
