"Asheville, NC, April 15th, 2016 — In early January 2016, Burial Beer Co. announced their plans for second brewery and plans for a new side project. The brewery, which opened in 2013 with a one-barrel system, quickly outgrew the home-brew size brewery into a ten-barrel operation. Now nearing their third anniversary this summer, the brewery will add a four-vessel, twenty-barrel system capable of producing sixty-barrel batches."

Lots more details in the above link.

Well no, they don't brew enough to supply NC. One day maybe, they make great beers.

Surf Wax and Gang of Blades in August eh? Please let that be true! Been impatiently waiting on Surf Wax to be canned for quite a while, hopefully NC will see a run of it before then.

Oh and the new facility sounds bad ass! Two-story taproom, a proper restaurant for Salt & Smoke, urban garden...hell yeah!

They were in town for a tap takeover at the Beer Study last night. Some very solid beers coming out of Burial I also had a chance to sample a peanut butter stout not sure of the name but it may have been Sheller(?). WHOA! That one surely got my attention.

Damn I was not aware of this or maybe would've headed out there. Looks like they had some good ones too - Massacre, Piston, Gandasa.

    Definitely a solid line-up.

JD had quite a turnout last night so clearly the word is more than out regarding Burial. Also, as I was trying the samples the rep was handing out, I looked down and saw a full keg of a double IPA from Prairie sitting there. Couldn't get a good look at the label on the keg but sure hope it was Phantasmagoria. Might want to keep an eye on Beer Study's twitter post regarding that one being tapped.

Probably right. Someone can feel free to make it if they want, I just searched for the most recent Burial thread and stuck it there.

I wish they would make their beersore readily available in NC before they move to other states.

I don't know, Scythe and Haysaw are currently turding up the shelves in the Piedmont area, maybe we have been seeing more of them than there are people that want to buy it? Hell, I think there are still cases of Bolo at a couple shops.

I mean more in the sense of the limited number of shops that actually carry Burial. And taps are very few and far between. At least for Charlotte.
