Hot damn this is really freaking good stuff. Unexpectedly good. Love at first sniff, drinks like a DIPA and only 7%. Easily a HR, and keep this one coming.

Had another one last night. As far as rye ipa's go, it really is about as good as I can ever remember having.

I absolutely love this beer. Could very well be the best rye ipa I have ever tried and getting to try a beer the day it was canned was a first for me.

4-pack with friends in DC was met with strong positive opinions all-round.

I went to the source and brought some back over the weekend. Burial makes some excellent brews. The Crucifix was a personal favorite.

I had one at a soccer tailgate this weekend, and I'm glad I had it. Perfect beer for the situation and I owe my friend who brought it back from NC.

Can dated on the bottom, what I had was less than two, weeks old. The Rye goes well with an IPA, it has a bit of sharpness that barley lacks. I wouldn't imagine fruity IPAs like this would age all that well. Nice they date their stuff.
