I don't know of any bottle shops, but it would definitely be worth a stop at Schilling (In Littleton, NH) on your way up. Their beers are great and The Resilience Beers they have been putting out are really tasty.
Directly up I93? I second Schilling as a nice stop for a few brews. Bert's Better Beers in Hooksett would be on the way. For a spot to grab beers on tap the Kingdom Tap House in St. Johnsbury. If you go 93 to 89 to 91 you will drive through White River Junction, there is a good beer store at Big Fatty's which is across the street from River Roost Brewery. The Coop in WRJ also has a decent selection including cases of Sip of Sunshine. You will also be about 30 miles from Hill Farmstead and Parker Pie. Parker Pie has a good selection of retail beer to go.
I've been meaning to get to Kettlehead in Tilton. If I were driving up 93, I can't see how I'd be able to resist.
Geez, is there any place you haven't gotten to before me? I'm going to start using you as an example with my wife of somebody I'm not as bad as.
Kingdom often has a few Hill taps and a fun variety besides that. I usually drop in there when I'm in the area and have always enjoyed the experience.
Just had dinner at Kingdom Tap house on saturday. Been going there since shortly after they opened a few years ago. the food is consistently very good and their tap list has gotten better over time. they used to only have edward, on saturday i think there were 4 or 5 HF/grass roots options. nice to have a quality bar on the eastern side of the state.
Purchased a bottle of Cantillon there a year or two ago. You never know what they'll have tucked away.
Coop in Littleton NH is worth a visit. Now that the I93 rest area in Hookset has expanded, you can pick up some solid NH beer without even getting of the interstate. 10 minute detour, but Barrel to Bottle in Danville VT is a good bottle shop with growler fills, and if you time it right you can check out Red Barn brewing just down the road.
