Visited this new brewery (200 Webster St.)... space was nice, long L shaped bar and a cool couch area in front of fireplace which sadly is still in use!!..... some board games and cards throughout. Beer was pretty good started with the Nut Brown Ale typically not a style I gravitate to but was actually a nice change of pace. malty, caramel and well balanced.. Had a taste of the Hefeweizen and thought it was delicious with a nice "taffy banana" and clove flavor note.. Looking forward to returning and checking the hoppy stuff next time. .seems the south shore is finally representing!
Brian is a good friend of mine, nice to see him get some good publicity here. Should be a steady string of new beers coming along with 4-5 regulars.
And conveniently located right off Rt 3... So my ticker list for rainy days on the south shore this summer is Untold in Scituate, Stellwagon in Marshfield and Burkes in Hanover, got it. What'd I miss?
