Holy....that's higher priced than I thought on the last two...Will they take Credit Card or just cash?

Burley Oak really goin' for it with their pricing, huh? Man. I would like to try a couple more of their beers on tap before I headed out for something like this at those prices.

 

My sister said $15 ich bin ein, $21 Night Ryder and $27 Ruder Boy...she was just there, barely anyone there when she was there.

EDIT: Oh I just realized they are just about the price OP mentioned, maybe she is price gouging me the extra couple bucks on each beer....

 

$24.77, $19.27, $13.76 plus Maryland's kick you in the balls tax.

And the place is a mad house...packed

 

Was there just past noon and the bottles were going fairly steady. Had no idea of the price until I was rung up. Yeah Greenmonster's prices are right. I was a bit shocked but I just love the Rude Boy and love me some barleywine so fuck it. Not like I can get to DL Day or Hunaphu...supporting my local, but still feel it is a tad stiff. Later a guy tried to sell me a case of Nugget cheap. Felt I had blown my wad for the day....

 

Am presently enjoying a bottle of the Ruder Boy from today and well....it is pretty f-in amazing. Worth $25? Meh.....still pretty damn good.....

 

Any idea if it'll be around until Monday?

 

Hard to say-they were 3 seperate releases so theres a good chance there may be. I may score another bottle or so to trade if theres any left when I am over there Thursday.

 

I'm going to try and make it Monday but if not I'd be interested.

 

I am glad I only got one, I love Ruder Boy as well and I figured Maker's would make an awesome barrel for it, but I didn't want to drop the extra cash to have a second bottle for myself/trade (well, I did get a second but for a buddy as a gift for the arrival of their new baby)

 

I made it down there today and after sampling a few (first time there) I got two night's and a ruder boy. I should have bought another ruder, so if anyone has an extra or goes back let me know.

 

What are everyone's thoughts on these? I don't see any reviews yet. Mine are en route, I'm excited to try them.

 

I've only had the Ich Bin Ein so far, and I found it pretty underwhelming.
