These guys are making my favorite hoppy session beers right now. Have been critical of some of their beers being overly bitter in the past, but these current two are fantastic hazy, hoppy crushers:

Shoegazer: Blonde ale w/ spelt, wheat and Mandarina Bavaria + Mosaic Hops 5% ABV

Elaborate Metaphor: NE Style pale ale w/ Citra + Amarillo Hops 5.4% ABV

Just highlighting those two since they're canned and out at retail and delicious, but their "Inertia" Coconut stout is really good too, and I enjoyed the 3.0 haze bomb version of "It's complicated being a Wizard".

Also they now are open 7 days a week and they have food at their taproom so more reason to visit!

I loved Light in the Window IPA a coupla years ago, only one I've tasted. Sadly I've not yet seen Burlington brews in Massachusetts. As the Bros used to say, "Send 'em beer!"

Elaborate Metaphor is really nice with a lot of grapefruit flavor. The body is kind of thin, but that's to be expected of a 5.4% pale ale.

Their last few releases have been super hazy, murky even. Maybe murkier than Tree house and trillium. Beyond orange juice, more like a smoothie. Will scare off many women and west coasters.

Everything I've had from them has been good to pretty good, except Uncanny Valley. That was a great beer.

They are masters of using fruit. Especially prickly pear.

Peasant King it is. And the recent bee keeper looked like this. As did the recent orbital Elevator

Ive only seen the first installment out with the Prickly Pear. You've had the second? Has it been released?

it's being released on friday, but i tried it out of the tank on tuesday, and yesterday after canning. the perks of being an employee! it's different for sure, but still delicious. not as much tartness, and obviously a different fruit profile. give it a couple days in the can and it will be perfect.

I've never seen a brewery vary so much with each release. The last three beekeeper releases -

First - cloudy, dry, with medium hop finish
Second - clear dark and sweet
Third- cloudy again with an extremely hoppy finish.

I'm pretty sure they're using the London III yeast for all their IPA now except for possibly Light in the Window. They've all been superhazed.

Stainless Forest (8.2% simcoe/amarillo) on Apr 7 as well. Probably my favorite hoppy beers they do.
