I have never been to Burlington and was looking for some advice on where to stay and what bars, restaurants I need to visit. Primarily looking for a hotel that is walking distance to where we should be hanging out. Looking for bars/restuarants that serve local beer (Hill Farmstead, Lawson's, Heady Topper, and anything else I don't know about) I've had some recommendations to visit the Farm House and American Flat Bread which both sound great! Thanks for your help in advance! Visiting in March and wanted to get the ball rolling!

Hotels within walking distance are going to be spendy, they are both waterfront on Lake Champlain, Hilton & Marriott, check on hotels or priceline. You already listed the two beer high points. Other strong beer/nightlife: Vt Pub & Brewery... pub grub and house brewed beers Das Bierhaus ...good German beer selection and food RiRa Irish Pub... decent Irish pub ok beer selection El Gato .....great Mexican food & margharitas..ok beer selection Plenty of good food, check Seven Days Vermont for reviews. Many other ok places, The Scuffer, Halverson's, Red Square, Church Street Tavern, RJ's, Sky Burger
