Burnt Hickory shipping bottles?

    looks like Burnt Hickory should be available in bottles on a shelf near you soon.

    Well if you shelves are in the metro atlanta area...and probably mostly north metro.

    But hey Burnt Hickory bottles.

    Cannon Dragger and Big Shanty bombers boxed and shipped per twitter.

    Looking forward to picking up a couple of those.

    Yeah, I just commented to them on Twitter about that. Trying to figure out how close to Upstate S.C. these will show up, and assuming the answer was maybe Athens. I need to get a Shanty, to try out for myself.

    Hope we get some in South Metro Atlanta (the rest of the state). We've been getting kegs of theirs pretty regularly in the past few months.

    Scott told me they planned to ship about 3,000 bottles of each in this first run and once they send them to Savannah they have no control over what shops get them, he just encouraged everyone to let your shops know that you want their beer.

    I was actually at the brewery when they got the shipment of bottles in and helped them out with the first bottling run of Big Shanty, Scott gave me a couple bottles right off the line! It's drinking great this year, awesome to see bombers will actually make it to shops.

    As a side note... unless you've helped out on a small manual bottling line you have no idea what goes into getting these bottles out, it is not a fast process by any means.

    that's great. i really look forward to grabbing some bottles Guessing that a lot of folks will be sending Big Shanty out to their regular trading partners. I know I will make sure to send a couple of bottles around.

    Found bottles in Athens today. $10 for Big Shanty and $9 for Cannon Dragger.

    I actually saw them at J's Bottle Shop on Prince, though I'm sure Five Points has them as well.

    I was hoping the same thing since I'm on the South side. I asked both Georgia World of Beverage in Fairburn and Larry's Package in Union City if they would bring it in and they both got some this week. I just picked up a few bottles at Larry's and he had about a case of Big Shanty and 8 or so bottles of Cannon Dragger left. I think GWB got a case of each... not sure how much is left.
