Is there any site to buy Belgian beer online that don't have outrageous shipping costs? The sites I've found the shipping cost is 2-3 times the price of the beer.

A strategy I used recently with success was going in on an order with my homies @aaronyoung01 and @gyoungit . Shipping is much more palatable when you're splitting it three ways. Find some people to share an order with, OP.

I remember an older post describing strategies to get the most bang for your buck in terms of shipping Belgians. I'd try the search function, cause I don't remember the details. Essentially the take home was buy bulk but keep it under a certain weight or bottle number, and that minimized the price per bottle. If memory serves me right they got it down to around $10 a bomber, and I think they were buying cases (12 count). My memory plays tricks on me though, so hopefully you can find the thread!

I've only ordered Belgian beer once online (from Trappist World). We ordered an assortment of Westvleteren beers and they were nice enough to email me back and advise that, without paying more in shipping (shipping costs are, apparently, not on a sliding scale), we could get another 6 bottles in the box. Yes, shipping from overseas is pricey but, like most things in life, it's all a tradeoff. We got what we wanted, securely packaged and delivered to my doorstep. Sometimes you just have to pay for that convenience.
